Medical Spas

August 27th, 2009

There are so many now calling themselves medical spas.  They claim to provide everything from lunchtime lipo to microdermabrasion with doctors and nurses, which is in so many ways a justification to charge you more money for the same thing.  Granted, in this economy some have been paying with a check which then bounced and went nowhere to get services still the same.  But still, so many provide the same things you could find at a beauty salon with a beautician who had been through a little extra training.

Or the procedures they use are flat out fraudulent or dangerous.  It’s one of those things of take your pick.  But any way you look at it, you might want to reconsider going into your local “medical spa.”  They make quite a bit of money off of you even though they can’t provide things such as an actual facelift.  They’re not actually qualified surgeons or anything like that.  The biggest risk is just getting ripped off.  But there are bigger risks associated with some procedures carried out in so called medical spas that you have to worry about to a greater degree.  It’s just a matter of knowing what they are at this point in time.
