There are top 10 superfoods, top foods that pack a wallop, there are plenty of sets of food like this.  But now they are saying that there are 6 major foods that keep you feeling younger on the inside.  It’s quite entertaining.  Of course, there are foods that can help you to maintain better health, I’m just wondering which ones in particular they actually picked. 

They started out with berries in general, because they really are generally packed with vitamins and antioxidants, both of which can nourish your skin while also protecting it from further damage. 

Second, they listed garlic, which is generally associated with the heart, but I suppose it could help with your skin by keeping blood flow and circulation going. 

Third, they listed turmeric, an old Indian remedy that has been known to help the skin to heal faster and otherwise regenerate itself. 

Fourth comes beans because they are rich in omega 3 fatty acids as well as other proteins that help to really moisturize and regulate the skin. 

And finally they list tomatoes, because they are often rich in lycopene, a powerful antioxidant that has been known to prevent the common signs of premature aging.  All in all, these aren’t bad foods, and if you would like to protect your skin, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to use them in various ways such as eating them and using them in a homemade facial mask.
